My name is Althea Hayton and I am a wombtwin survivor. If you know you are (or believe you are) the sole survivor of a twin or multiple pregnancy, then this is the site for you. For every set of twins born, there are at least ten wombtwin survivors. That means that many millions of people throughout the world are wombtwin survivors, but most of them have no idea that they are. At least one may be in your family. In fact, the wombtwin survivor in the family may be you!

Wombtwin survivors spend their lives constantly re-enacting their Dream of the Womb. Nothing is more important than that - even life itself. They will go to extraordinary lengths and choose to create all kinds of fantasies, simply to keep that Dream alive, for in the Dream is the twin they yearn for and search for, their whole life long.

  • Could you or someone you know be a wombtwin survivor? Click here for a free downloadable article that may help you to decide.

  • Perhaps you have heard about "vanishing twin" phenomenon, and want to know more. Here you will find out how it feels to be someone whose twin "vanished" in the womb.

There is no doubt in my mind that a surviving twin suffers more if they don't know why they feel as they do. They have problems with food, with relationships and low self esteem. The articles on this site and the books that will arise from it will provide that much-needed explanation. Wombtwin survivors can be misunderstood because they seem "weird" or "different". I know that they are not crazy, odd, different or even sick. They feel as they do because they are wombtwin survivors. That's all. Just knowing that can be an enormous relief.

Whatever problem you have got with all this, I will try to help. Just email me. Perhaps you have been waiting all your life for someone to tell you that you are not crazy.

OK. You are not crazy: you are a wombtwin survivor!
