Food addiction is ingredient specific. If you are a food addict you are not addicted to all foods: just some food ingredients.

Are you a food addict?

Once you have admitted it, things will get easier, so admit it: you are addicted to something in your food

Three steps to overcoming food addiction

1. Learn about the basic, raw ingredients that make up your favourite foods.

2. Discover which of these ingredients you  tend to choose for a food "fix" for your emotional problems.

3. Begin a special addiction fast, when you eliminate your favourite food "fix" but eat as much as you need of everything else.

This is called the FOUR ZERO experience, and it can begin to change your whole attitude to food in three weeks.

A food addict's cry for help:
I have tried to control my impulses from the earliest age regarding my over eating. If my memory serves me correctly I would be around 5 years of age when I noticed it.  I feel guilty that I am not stong enough to resisit these impulses and get cross with myself, because the people who know me think I am a strong, confident, outgoing person who can cope with anything and who is good to be around. The sad part to this is that most of the time I am - until a dark cloud settles and I  sink down.....I don't know where to turn for help and assistance. I have had blood and allergy tests done before, and the foods I binge on are the foods that I am intolerant or allergic to.  For a time I can seem to clear my system out of these foods and feel better, but I always go back.

Out of the dark

If this is how you feel sometimes - caught in a trap by your own cravings - then you are probably a food addict too. This change of diet can change your life. It will lift your spirits to  a new level and bring you new hope.
Try it.  There is nothing to lose by trying and everything to gain.
